An excellent series

Spring for the boxed set..once you start reading them, you will have to find out how it ended! The characters are well written and her moral dilemmas very poinient in today's world. Not a hocus pocus, magic witch type of story, or Eco terrorism...something else all together. You will get no spoiler alerts here, I would not want to take the pleasure of making this journey away from anyone. Just saying it is worth your effort and money to read. Enjoy

Not Worth the Time or Money

I rarely write reviews on books....just like to read and keep my opinions to myself; however, this series was a total snoozer. Definitely not worth the time or the money. I read the first one in the series since it was free and that was pretty good so I decided to purchase the set. BIG MISTAKE! It was long and laborious but since I purchased it I waded through it hoping it would get better as I went. It didn't! And then the ending was awful!

Everything I Could Have Asked For

I loved this series from beginning too end. A magical, ecologically focused adventure with a strong but human heroine and a villain you can actually hate... And then some. Between screwed up love interest, being forced into a life she's unsure about, and surviving one attack after another, Kaitlin Alder is both relatable and someone to look up to and grow with.

This whole story was also very therapeutic for me during my own personal trials. I related far to closely to some events, that gave this book far more meaning and connection to me than it probably would have any other time.

I'd like to say it's for everyone, but I don't think so. I think it's for women trying to find themselves or learning to be strong and brave. It deals with issues like abuse, and giving birth, and falling in love. But yes it's all of that is wrapped up in honing magical elemental power, saving the world (from an ecological level and bringing awareness) to war.

There are so many layers to this book, Terra Harmony did wonderfully. The storyline, pace, and writing are all exquisite. There are some typos as is common with Amazon books. There's so much more she could do, of add, or directions she could have gone, and buying The Complete Saga gives you a glimpse of that with the bonus content.

I loved this series.

About the Author

For his lifelong work in bioremediation and in the application of molecular methods to microbial ecology, Dr. Ronald Atlas received the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) award in Applied and Environmental Sciences. He chairs the ASM's Public and Scientific Affairs Board Environment Committee and is frequently asked to advise the government on related matters. Dr. Atlas is also a professor of biology at the University of Louisville where he teaches undergraduate and graduate microbiology courses.

Dr. Richard Bartha has conducted research for over 30 years on the environmental fate of manmade synthetic chemicals, on methods ofbiodegradability testing, and on the bioremediation of soil-, water-, andairborne pollutants. Dr. Bartha has authored or co-authored 150 scientificarticles in his outlined research field. As a professor at Rutgers University, he teaches courses on microbiological and ecological topics. He has been elected Fellow of the American Society for the Advancement of Science and of the American Academy of Microbiology.

Lola Ridge 1873–1941 Lola Ridge was a poet and champion of the working class. Politically active before socialism be came fashionable among New York intellectuals, Ridge participated in protests, marches, and pickets with ferocious spirit. Throughout her life she suffered illnesses, eventually dying of pulmonary tuberculosis in 1941, yet her writing is vigorous and electric. She was, as Peter Quartermain described her in the Dictionary of Literary Biography, "the nearest prototype in her time of the proletarian poet of class conflict, voicing social protest or revolutionary idealism."

This book opened an entire new world to me!

This book opened an entire new world to me! Fred does an excellent job of making a case for investing in scarce resources that WILL go up--gold, silver, oil, etc. Then he shows step by step how to find absolute rock bottom bargains on oil, silver, gold, and other stocks. This is not your run of the mill book.

My favorite discussion in the book is on penny mining stocks. These are stocks that give you incredible leverage because they cost anywhere from .05+ a piece. Not only do you get leverage but you also make enormous sums if these stocks go up even a few cents. And the risk is minimum because you can buy a ton of stock when their price is so low.

Not only was the book an excellent read but it also entirely and permanently opened up a new world to me. It changed my paradigm completely! Out of all the books on investing I have read (I read 1 or 2 a month and have been doing so for some time), this is one of the top two I have read!

FORTY YEARS A SPECULATOR

Fred Carach speaks from the weight of experience gained from the
school of hard knocks. As a futures and options trader myself with
twenty years in the industry, even from a brief reading it's readily
apparent that the author truly knows his craft -- the business of
small cap investing within the natural resource sector.

His trading style and philosophy are completely unorthodox (a big plus
point in my book). His views on technical analysis, stop-loss orders
and other conventional Wall Street wisdom surely would have him
condemned for heresy, however, I suspect the author would feel such a
charge be considered a badge of honour.

This book is full of common sense and a distillation of wonderful
investment stories. I can highly recommend it.

Fred Carach is not a momentum investor, nor a wall street Acolyte. He is a conviction value investor. He makes an excellent case for his style of dividend plays mixed with a salting of junior mining stocks. I was a momentum player myself, yet his damning account of trend chasing rang true with the results I have experienced.

His writings are full of experience, and original thought. Ranging from his view of a resource scarce world, to the down to earth high dividends of trusts and REITs. Leave the big player arena of the S&P500 to the mutual funds, learn to put the odds on your side, and learn what this real investor is made of.

I must have read over 80 books on stocks now, and yet this is the one that is my imprint for my investments to come.

My children love this math series!

I wasn't sure if I liked how this author approached math - it seemed so 'untraditional'. But the proof is in the pudding. My children love this series, and actually argue who gets to do math next! I supplement with flashcards and some Khan academy as well. I also use Teaching Textbooks, but I plan to buy every single Life of Fred book for them because it is their favorite math and helps with the concepts.

Side note: this particular copy (Cats) was printed upside down in the cover. Not a big deal, I just turn the book over to read it, but thought I would make a note.

Great! Great! Great Read...

The Pastor’s Husband….
Tiffany L. Warren is a great author and I have read many of her books. This one will not disappoint you at all. As you get to know Nya, Gregory, Lady Sandy, Penelope, Felicia and some of the others in this story, you will see how the tongue definitely has the power of life or death in someone’s life. Nya gets caught up in the Lady Sandy’s women’s conferences that doesn’t line up with what she and her husband had envisioned for their ministry. Penelope has a gift and wants another. Felicia out of desperate measures took what Nya told her and did things that she knew wasn’t right (married men are off limits)and found herself in a world of heartache, misery and ready for revenge. You have to thank God that you can ask for forgiveness and repent. Because only God could fix all of this… The Pastor’s Husband was a great read, I’m hoping there will be a sequel…

Excellent

Felicia Caldwell works for a company that handles high-profile athletes and soon falls for one of her clients but does the client fall for her back or is he leading her on?

Nya Hempstead is being mentored to raise her ministry to another level that includes books and a TV ministry but is this what she wants considering the fact she and her husband Gregory are in a ministry together and this rise in stature may not include him. For Gregory, that is a problem, and he feels it should be a "problem" for Nya as well.

After Felicia and Nya connect during a spirit filled meeting at church, for Felicia the spiritual blessing Nya tells her about, becomes a nightmare in her mind AND life which she blames Nya for. When she joins the church that Nya and her husband Gregory pastor, will Felicia come between them and cause havoc or will the prayer warriors help save this relationship.

This offering by Tiffany L. Warren is exactly what I have come to expect from this author. An excellent read that I can sit with a cup of tea and enjoy as if I also had a slice of pie to go with it, the pie being the story. I also like when reading her work that she gives you a great story that is not preachy. I have not been disappointed with any of Tiffany L. Warrens books, and I'm sure you will not either. Tiffany takes real life situations, tells the story and adds the right twists and turns to keep you flipping the pages.

I highly recommend this read and all her other works. Add them to your stack of must reads but get to this one, first.

Character Development near Perfection!

Whew! Pastors Nya and Gregory knew their ministry would change lives and bless the masses. However, they never knew it would start with Evangelist Nya. After being 'discovered' by the biggest preacher in Dallas, Evangelist Nya is swept into the limelight and starts to love it a bit too much. Felicia Caldwell receives a word that totally changes her life and promises to get revenge.

Warren continues to wow me with her writing. The storyline develops at a steady pace with twists and turns that make you say wow. The character development and pace are near perfection. The behind the scenes look at large scale ministry is intriguing and realistic. Warren has a talent that amazes me and I can't wait to read her next book.
