AMAZING, ENLIGHTENING, A MUST READ FOR AWARENESS

(oh my goodness or oh my god). This book is amazing. It is unbelievable as to the truth of the matter. It is so heartbreaking that we as a society are so unaware of the exclusionary rule and what its consequences are on both those who we expect to protect us and on society. I totally understand what society feels; I am apart of it. Only because I have attended courses at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, have I been enlightened to these issues and many others. I think this book should be promoted more, and a standard for both law and evidence and constitutional law. The cases included are unbelievably disturbing, but none-the-less and eye opener. It is a very impressionable book. I cannot continue to say thank you enough for writing it. It gets write to the point with great explanation and examples. It is an easy read, not boring and understandable even to those who may have never taken a course in criminality, law, or any related subject.
As I have hated the police and still have a bit of bias against them, of course from personal confrontation, confrontation of those of family members, and stories of confrontation by associates and friends. I can most certainly now understand it from the officers side of the law and that is only through this book. I have heard how hard it is time and time again, but this book put me write in the officers shoes, the prosecutor shoes, even the criminal shoes and that is the reality of things. As people say"YOU NEVER KNOW HOW HARD MY JOB IS UNTIL YOU WALK IN MY SHOES". We as a society can do so much harm to ourselves and too those here to protect us; it is astonishing. There is never a write answer or the write thing to do, but this book sheds a light an understanding better said than anything I've read regarding the justice system.
My hat off to the writer. (better promotions is definitely needed)

I purchased this book for my constitutional law class at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, I must say this book was a very interesting one. That's coming from a person who rarely makes it fully through a book because of boredom or lack of time. In this case, Professor Signorelli writes some interesting stories and situation that will keep you locked in and teach you about the positives and negatives of the exclusionary rule. Good book! Good Price!!
